Lynn is a Professor of Psychology at the UM Department of Psychology. She studies word learning and categorization in children with typical development and with language delays, including those with hearing loss or autism spectrum disorder. Visit her website and Google Scholar page for more info.

Post Baccalaureate Trainee: Juan Londoño
Juan is a recent graduate of the University of Miami, with a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in criminology. He is interested in child development and neuroscience. He eventually plans to attend graduate school to earn a PhD. He received a supplement award from NIDCD to conduct post baccalaureate research using automated speech recognition tools to understand bilingual language development in children with hearing loss.

Celia Romero
Celia is a fourth-year graduate student at the University of Miami. She is interested in investigating the impact bilingual experience has on typical and atypical cognitive development.
Eraine Leland
Eraine is a second-year graduate student. She received her BA in Psychology and Spanish from Rhodes College. She is interested in bilingual language development and the impacts of diverse linguistic contexts.

Naline Pierre
Naline is a junior at the University of Miami majoring in Psychology on the Pre-Medical track with minors in Sports Medicine and Chemistry. Her research interests include child-developmental psychology, behavioral psychology, and clinical psychology. Post graduation, she plans on attending medical school and earning her M.D. to eventually become a Pediatric Psychiatrist.
Stephanie Campos-Scocozza
Stephanie is a sophomore at the University of Miami, majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Chemistry on the pre-med track. Her research interests are in cognitive and neurological development in children and adults. After graduation, she plans to go to medical school and receive an MD to become a Psychiatrist for children, adolescents, and adults.
